Mega CD 2 (1992)
The Mega CD 2 was made for the Mega Drive 2 as the original Mega CD wasn't compatible with the Mega Drive 2. The Mega CD 2 now sits at the right hand side of the Mega Drive and has a lid instead of a motorised tray. Unlike the original Mega CD the 2nd can be used with both Mega Drives. To use the Mega CD 2 with the original Mega Drive you need an adapter that supports the Mega Drive at the left hand side since it hangs off the end.
